ok, so another part of letting your kids grow up is letting them choose certain things.. well Jonathon has discovered HAIR PRODUCTS.. GEL AND A HAIR DRYER..Oh Lord.. :)

Becoming a young Man! Not a lil boy anymore...

Jonathon will be 12 on 8/13 and we have been talking about birthday celebrations. I am not too sure he gets the"it's time to be a young man" thing. He first started by saying he wanted a party at Keller point where we did his 10th BD. I tried talking to him about how we get past birthday parties when we are a certain age. I also suggested he pick a couple of places we could have his birthday dinner and he was ok with it but asked.. Will people come? I was like ofcourse buddy, you have a lot of people that love you and would love to celebrate by having dinner with you. With a smile on his chubby face and a lump in MY throat(cause my baby is going to be 12 and will be in 7th grade and in Jr.High) He said he wanted to go to Babes, Salt Grass or Red Lobster... so be on the lookout for dinner invites coming soon via email.. :)

Birthday Party Fun!

Saturday was Madison's(Lee Roy's cousin)5th birthday party. We drove out to there house in Far Far Away Texas.. ;) Our kids where with their dad and didn't get to come along. It was a good time to hang out and talk with Lee Roy's parents, aunt and brother. It was nice we hadn't done that in a long time. After the party we had dinner with Lee Roy's mom and dad at a burger place out by them.. that burger and those steak fries were.."OUT OF THIS WORLD" "MONEY" as my good Buddy Guy Fietti would say. After dinner we headed back to Clyde and Wendy's for some "hangin out" time with them and some of Lee Roy's old friends. The guys went to pick up some drinks and we just all sat and talked and laughed. We left Far Far away at 1130 and didn't make it home until 1230.. well worth it though, I love to hang out with people I can be myself with. Thanks C & W for a great night! Next time it will be at our place. :)

The key to success in your life—with your family, your friends, and your future—is your ability to communicate. That’s because the words you use hold incredible power.

Used as God intended, our words have the potential to bless, encourage, and to elevate others. Or, if used negatively, our words can divide, destroy, and dishearten.

Moment by moment, we are faced with the crucial choice of how we will use our words. And this is precisely why Peter directed us to make the conscious choice to bless others. Because everyone has an innate need to receive a blessing.

Think about it this way. When we bless people, we are expressing our approval and preparing a person’s heart to step out and fulfill God’s purpose for their life. So can you see how important it is to use your words to bless… especially your children?

But you may say, “I didn’t grow up in a family like that. I didn’t get words of kindness and blessing.” Perhaps you didn’t. Many have never known this blessing. But while you can’t change the past, you can change the future.

Start blessing your children and your family today. Bless the people in your life and you can begin a chain of blessing throughout the generations. And when you do, God promises that you, too, will obtain a blessing!

4TH of July in Euless!

We split up the 4th into 2 days.. the 3rd and then the 4th.. ;) Friday Sprint gave us the day off (so grateful for that) Kristina went to pick up Gavin(boyfriends son) and came over to our house to swim with Ash, Jonathon, my mom and I. we spent ALL day at the pool and LOVED it! (No pics.. sorry I was tanning ;))

Saturday my mom and I got ready for the real party.. food, drinks, family it was all good could not ask for anything more! We made it into a birthday/4th celebration. During dinner we laughed and hung around, even watched the Rangers game. After dinner, mom and dad bought the kids poppers and sparklers.. the kids thought they were the coolest... Thanks mom and dad for making memories! Once they had their fill of poppin' and sparklin', we headed to the Ballpark in Arlington since the Rangers had fireworks after their win to Tampa Bay!

Baseball Night with my team

7/1 Lee Roy and I enjoyed a night out with my team from work. Rangers played the Angels.. We had so much fun!! My parents also got tickets and came along.

Always Action when I am with my Hubby...

Now I know that is is Lee Roy's luck .. (you decide good or bad) and that there is always going to be something going on.. we were driving to Dallas to get a sno cone and we see several DFD and DPD speeding by.. If you know LR.. He is an ambulance chaser!! Got some good pics though... ;)
