Basketball 1/15/2011
OMGeeeeeeeee! Is it softball season YET??? LOL! Ashleigh was a bit overwhelmed this first week but in the end... she LOVES basketball. They call her and Alexus(a teammate) the twin towers because they are super tall.. ;) Go #44! They had a bye week last week and a double header this Saturday! She scored 6 pts and has some MAD defense skills!! I was the overly excited mom that promised myself I was just going to sit back and be a normal parent.. no team mom, no coach/ coach's wife.. no board member.. just mommy the cheerleader.. Go #44.. right?? Uhmmm.. not so much! Oh well. I have an oz of OCD and ... well... I am "team helper". I helped getting the snack sign ups going, helped the coach with the girls during pictures and little things here and there. For softball we have shirts made and no one had mentioned anything for basketball so I made my own.. which might I add was very fun! Here are some pics of Ashleigh's basketball season thus far. ;)
