May is looking good ~ Happy Mommas day!

Our softball girls are 6-0-1! Lee Roy and Chris are doing a wonderful job and I am really LOVING the whole team mom thing. Friends and Family support for the team and Ashleigh has been great, her teacher even came out to watch her play. It so happened that she hit her 1st homerun that day! (she has 2)

Friday my parents came back from Kansas City and called the kids and I to go see IRON MAN 2! They are such cool g-parents! So off we went to Southlake Harkins Cine-Capri... IT WAS AWSOME! I just saw the first one on the sunday before and I fell in love.

Did I mention momma brought back treats from KC.. Jack StackBBQ sauce and Tippin's Pie YUMMY! She loves LR and I ;)

Anywhoo.. Saturday Game Day: Ashleigh catches a line drive throws it to 1st and gets a double play! She is really loving this softball thing. We also FINALLY got our new team unis and they are almost perfect. The team name was misspelled but the girls still looked great!

Sunday: Mothers Day: We celebrated with my awsome, beautiful, fun, smart and TRUE BLESSING of a momma on Saturday because Kyle and his dad got Ranger tickets for Nana Sandy (bcause she ROCKS and Nana Sandy is the BEST)and they were taking her to the ball game for mothers day. My kids are blessed they have grandparents pouring out of their ears! LOVE IT! Sunday afternoon my love had to work so he took me to lunch and off to work he went. I as always ran to my mommas and spent mommy/val time which I can NEVER have enough of. We ran errands, we had sno cones, we saw my grandma and great-grandmother, 4 generations of mommas. I know LR was sad he missed my great-grandma she LOVES her some "Rroy" as she calls him...lol!

Sunday night.. Kyle and the kids took me to dinner. Nothing better than watching the SUNS beat the SPURS in SA... while eating hooters.. :) DON'T JUDGE ME.. it works for everyone involved! :p

To my mommy: Thank you for everything that you do. The love and encouragement that you show all three (yes three me, LR and Tina)of your kids and grandkids is amazing! Lee Roy and I are so proud of you for finally finishing up your degree and having the courage to start a Grad program! I love you with ALL of my heart YOU ARE MY BEST FREIND!

Our 2010 has been so busy! Lee Roy and I have taken on this softball team thing and we are SO proud of our girls they are 3-0-1. We have been SO busy but it has been well worth it! Ashleigh is having a lot of fun with her softball team and the support she gets is amazing. I had t-shirts made for my parents, me and her daddy. Lee Roy has his coach shirt so I didn't have to get him one. Although I did forget to get Jonathon and he let me know about it.. LOL! OOoops! May is going to be just as busy with 2 games a week plus practice. We have a fundraiser starting in a week, raffling off hotel stays, dinner for 2 at Texas Roadhouse... and much more. GAME 2! TIE 8-8

Our games are Saturdays and Tuesdays. The girls are doing such a wondrful job! Ash got a triple and a single and stole 3 bases Tuesday! I am so proud of my baby girl. Ash had a fans in the stands list a mile long. One of my besties and her hubby came and brought their granddaughter. Nana and Papa(Kyle's parents) were able to come out and cheer her on. Lee Roy well he is her coach.. Kyle and I were right there watchin our baby make us proud! Here are some practice pics from Monday and game day pics from Tuesday. Enjoy! ~V~

PANTERAS SOFTBALL 2010 OPENING DAY!

Today was Ashleigh's season opener vs Fire & Ice. The girls all did a wonderful job and the best part... WE WON!! 2-0!! Lee Roy is the head coach of her team and this has really been a bonding thing for them. Not that they need it too much because Ash LOVES her Lee Roy and Lee Roy ADORES his lil Ash just as if she were his. The bond is so strong that sometimes Ashleigh slips up and calls him Daddy.. Love it!

Thank you to everyone who took my FB joke with a light heart! Although Lee Roy and I have talked about having babies.... right now it is just not happening. The name I used in my FB post are the names we have picked if we do decide one day that we are going to have babies, OR if GOD shows us that is what he wants for our little family :)
