Baseball Night with my team

7/1 Lee Roy and I enjoyed a night out with my team from work. Rangers played the Angels.. We had so much fun!! My parents also got tickets and came along.

Now I know that is is Lee Roy's luck .. (you decide good or bad) and that there is always going to be something going on.. we were driving to Dallas to get a sno cone and we see several DFD and DPD speeding by.. If you know LR.. He is an ambulance chaser!! Got some good pics though... ;)

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all of the Awsome Dads I know! Lee Roy, Dad/Papa Jake, Kyle, Mike/Papa, my uncle Juan, Rick(LR's dad)! Also to the wonderful dad's that have passed, we miss you and will always love & remember you!

Our Father's day was a BLAST! My mom and I took dad to Home Depot to pick out his GRILL! Yes he can finally grill on HIS VERY OWN!! He has not been able to grill the last 2&1/2 years because it is hard to get to the back patio for him. So mom baught him a Weber table top gas Grill with a cart. The propane tank fits in your hand.. so CUTE! Mom also treated us.. yes us me and dad to a Weber grilling cook book... I am SO excited, I love to try new recipes! My mom calls me Martha Stewart.. AS IF! I prefer Rachael Ray...LOL! Anyway... Dad also picked up a lil something for BIG L (pic below)

After HD, we went to Dinner at Tolbert's in downtown Grapevine.. YUMMO CHICKEN FRIED STEAK!! The best! I am a CFS fan and when I tell you this was the BOMB.. It was so good, no one or place makes CFS this good, and the GRAVY.. OMG!! Warm, creamy, drinkable GOODNESS!!!! After dinner we went to Aunt Stelle's in the OC..LOL(OAK CLIFF) FOR SNO CONES. Again the best ANYWHERE! AND YES, We drive 30 minutes to get'em.. :) Here are some pics of our day!

Saturday night B4 Father's Day

I was talking to the kiddos about getting cards for the PAPA's & the DAD's but they didn't want to get out in the heat. Ashleigh suggested we make cards for them so we did. So while Lee Roy was at work, I layed out all of the supplies and we all got started. The kids designed them and I was designated the"writer" .. lol All in their words but I wrote for them.

I made this goodie basket for my dad filled with ALL OF HIS SNACKING favs.

Ready for the weekend! Not much to do except relax!

As of right now, we don't have major plans for the weekend. Might take the kids swimming and invite my momma and sister. Lee Roy works 3-11 tonight, Sat and Sunday. I know we definitely need to get a snow cone sometime before 9 pm Sunday. My grandma usually takes the kids on Fridays when the kids are with me but haven't heard anything from her yet today. My mom said dad wanted to go fishing this weekend.. we'll see I'm game... My nail appointment is next week so I should be ok :) Monday I will be going to dad's rehab therapy session... he swims.. did I tell ya'll that? He used to love swimming before the accident.. so now he is learning all over again. I will take pics and video to share. I hope you all have had a blessed week and have a wonderful weekend!
